PUBG: Battlegrounds is ending support for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game this November, Krafton has confirmed. After that, console players will have to pick up a PS5 or Xbox Series X if they want to continue playing the game.

Krafton has announced that support for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of PUBG: Battlegrounds will be coming to an end later this year.

PUBG isn’t alone in moving on from last-gen hardware. Earlier this year, The First Descendant announced it would no longer support its Xbox One and PS4 versions, despite only launching in 2024. As of June 19, 2025, the game is no longer playable on either Xbox One or PS4.
