Cory Mose of KVUE News reported that several current and former Longhorns were in attendance, including lifelong friends and fellow NFL draft prospects running back Tahj Brooks and pass rusher Princely Umanmielen. The list of attendees also included Toronto Raptors guard Jamal Shead, an Austin native.

Jahdae Barron became one of the six Texas Longhorns to be taken in the first round of the NFL Draft these past three years.

As the Denver Broncos approached their first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the decision-makers, including owner/CEO Greg Penner, head coach Sean Payton, and general manager George Paton, found themselves increasingly drawn to Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron.
