After a kitchen fire closed Bob Barksdale's Restaurant in summer 2024, new owners have reopened the doors to the popular diner in Cooper-Young.

Thomas Patrick Healy was arrested in November 2022, months after the fatal shooting at Geer Park in north Salem.
