Reports that Maverick Carter and LeBron James have secured funding for their international basketball league have the NBA concerned.

Per Front Office Sports' Ben Horney, Daniel Roberts and Alex Schiffer, James, along with his business partner Maverick Carter, met with Nikola Jokić’s European agent about a new international basketball league last week.

In Europe, though, he is a very well-known agent and power broker. His agency, BeoBasket, represents a number of top players in their European dealings, and has a partnership with one of the biggest agencies in the United States,
