The Atlanta Braves are kind of making a push, but it seems too late. A Braves outfielder seems to have enraged Atlanta fans for some time now.
To say Sunday afternoon’s finale was an up-and-down affair for Jurickson Profar would be an understatement. In the third inning, the Guardians scored their first run when Profar dropped a fly ball from Kyle Manzardo that allowed Steven Kwan to score the game-tying run.
Profar’s two-run homer off Nic Enright in the sixth inning was enough to beat the Guardians, 5-4, and complete a three-game sweep of the home team. The Guardians, who were one of baeball’s hottest teams a minute ago, have lost five of their last seven games.
