The thunderstorms on July 28 produced two damage-causing tornadoes in South Dakota, and a third in Iowa, according to the National Weather Service.
An EF-0 twister reportedly moved along Fox Lake Road in between Canaan Center Road and Route 3 for two minutes around 7 p.m.
The Weather Service rated the tornado an EF-1 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale, which has six levels. The damage "was consistent with estimated wind speeds of 110 mph," the report said.
