The hazy air hovering over US cities, including Chicago and New York, this summer is reminding Americans of just how connected they are with their northern neighbor.

Air Quality will be Poor at times Today especially now until the early afternoon then some improvement in Air Quality between 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. but then another Cold Front moving south from Canada Tonight will push another Large Plume of Canadian Wildfire Smoke into the Twin Cities after 10 p.

The wildfire areas of Manitoba and Saskatchewan are projected to receive 50 millimeters to 100 millimeters of rain this weekend into early next week. That amount of rain converts to two inches to four inches of rain. Two to four inches of rain will do a lot to extinguish a wildfire.
