The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Monday it opened a recall query covering about 1.2 million Stellantis' Ram trucks over concerns related to the transmission.

In the first half of 2025, Ram and Jeep each posted 2% year-over-year growth, while Fiat 500e sales increased by 286%. Stellantis is also contending with EV supply chain constraints.

Stellantis NV’s US sales fell 10% in the second quarter despite resilient demand for Jeep SUVs and Ram trucks, indicating the beleaguered automaker still has a ways to go in its recovery bid.
