By simply appending your Gmail username with a "+" symbol followed by a keyword or phrase, you can create an email alias and use it to perform a quick sort of your incoming messages.
Just use a plus symbol (“+”) before the @ sign to create an unlimited number of email addresses. For example, you might create a [email protected] address when signing up for Netflix.
Head to Gmail.com in your browser and sign into your account. In the far right corner, you’ll see the Quick Settings cog symbol near your Gmail account icon or the name of your company. Click on it.
