To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the James Beard Awards, four Cleveland chefs have found their spot as the James Beard Foundation announced its 2025 Restaurant and Chef Award semifinalists.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The Cleveland culinary scene will be well-represented in this year’s James Beard Awards. Four local chefs have been named semi-finalists. Chef Douglas Katz of the Edgewater Hospitality Group is a semifinalist in the “Outstanding Restaurateur” category.

Several Ohio chefs and restaurants in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus are among the 2025 James Beard Award semifinalists. Here's where you can find them:
