As announced by the Thunder, the 2024-25 version of the uniform’s design completes a two-year story arc reflecting Oklahoma City’s evolving landscape, growth, and momentum.

OKC describes its City Edition uniform as being "Inspired by the past, pushing for the future." It features an arched "Oklahoma" text across the chest, which pays tribute to the design from the franchise's first uniform in 2008.
