Rescuers continue to search for an estimated 20 girls who were at Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas when deadly floods from the Guadalupe River swept through the camp.

At least 24 people were killed and a frantic search continued overnight for many others missing in the Texas Hill Country,

Runyan stressed the importance of avoiding travelling around the Kerr County region. “There’s still a lot of low water crossings flooded,” he said. “If you do live along — or are vacationing along — the Guadalupe River, you need to seek higher ground right now."
