Actor Liev Schreiber is opening up about his transgender daughter Kai Schreiber. Schreiber told Variety in an interview published Thursday that Kai, 16, is largely the same person she always had been as a child. "Kai was always who Kai is," Schreiber said.

Kai is embracing her space in the trans community like never before, Schreiber says. “Kai is such a fighter,” he said. “It’s important that she goes, ‘Hey, I am trans,’ and, ‘Look at me.’”
