A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck the San Fernando Valley at roughly 10:15 p.m. Sunday night and was felt in and around Los Angeles, according to the United States Geological Survey.

While A-list actors, directors and producers gathered across Los Angeles for Hollywood's biggest night, a preliminary 3.9-magnitude earthquake hit the North Hollywood area around 10:13 p.m., according to the USGS.
