Childhood vaccination rates for the 2024-25 school year fell for the fifth year in a row, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

U.S. kindergarten vaccination rates inched down again last year and the share of children with exemptions rose to an all-time high, according to federal data posted Thursday.

The CDC says vaccination rates for kindergartners across the U.S. now averages 92.1%, down from roughly 93% in 2024.
