Television station WNYT in Albany is reporting that 9-year old Melina Galanis Frattolin, the object of an Amber Alert issued this morning, has been found dead. The station cites sources confirming that she was found deceased.

Melina Galanis Frattolin’s body was recovered in Ticonderoga, New York – roughly 30 miles away from Lake George, where her father originally reported she was last seen.

Luciano Frattolin is in custody after his daughter, Melina Galanis Frattolin, was found dead in NY after being reported missing over the weekend.
