There is no bad blood between Calvin Harris and Miley Cyrus — despite what fans might think. Harris, 41, teased the upcoming release of his song “Ocean,” a collaboration with Jessie Reyez, via TikTok earlier this month.

Word on the street was that Miley Cyrus’s record label blocked the song’s release due to undisclosed contractual or creative reasons. On August 17, 2025, more than a year after the Ocean music project was shelved, Calvin Harris teased the reworked version of the song with another artist on TikTok and captioned it, “I love it.”

But, fear not. As followers clamored for answers, Harris eventually clarified that he doesn't have anything against Cyrus. When someone questioned why he was directing "hate" at the Hannah Montana alum, he corrected, "I love Miley," later writing that the vocalist has "an amazing voice."
