A year after retirement Nick Saban is headed to the College Football Hall of Fame as part of a class of 22 to be enshrined at a ceremony in Las Vegas in December.

The College Football Hall of Fame this year will enshrine the most recent head coach to bring Ohio State a national championship. Toledo-native Urban Meyer will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class,

Urban Meyer will join Nick Saban in the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class, while Michael Vick and Michael Strahan are among the former players who will be inducted. The National Football Foundation announced Saban’s selection last week and the rest of the 18-player, four-coach class Wednesday.

Urban Meyer has the highest winning percentage (85.3%) of any major college coach other than Notre Dame legends Knute Rockne and Frank Leahy.

Former coaches Urban Meyer and Nick Saban are both in the College Football Hall of Fame's class of 2025, and Michael Strahan and Michael Vick are among the former players who will be inducted. Meyer becomes the 14th representative of the Gators program and the fifth Florida coach to receive this honor.
