The San Francisco 49ers are trading wide receiver Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders for a fifth-round pick, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

While adding a Pro Bowl WR makes the Commanders better in 2025, this ESPN analyst doesn't believes Deebo Samuel puts Washington over the top.

The Washington Commanders drafted Jayden Daniels with the No. 2 overall pick last year. He repaid the organization's confidence by taking them to the NFC Championship game. The Commanders are displaying their belief in Daniels again by adding a key weapon to their offense.
