Injury forces Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis to leave game vs. Houston Rockets
Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis left Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets due to a hamstring injury. Sabonis grabbed his left hamstring while running the floor just over a minute into the game at Toyota Center in Houston.
Change. After a 13-18 start, ownership fired head coach Mike Brown, who had led the team since 2022, the year the Kings drafted ex-Iowa and Cedar Rapids Prairie standout Keegan Murray fourth overall. Brown also won NBA Coach of the Year in 2023.
Keegan Murray scored a season-high 26 points to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 118-101 victory over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday at Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Murray posted his fourth 20-point game of the season and his first since Nov. 24 to help the Kings (30-28) start a four-game road trip with a victory.
