A think tank has said the Trump administration is "peddling false and exaggerated claims" about taxes on Social Security benefits.

Residents near Donald Trump's golf course in Aberdeenshire were reportedly evacuated this afternoon in what was described as a 'security scare.' Police in Scotland carried out precautionary checks in the village of Balmedie, while a cordon was put up around an entrance to the Menie Estate.

The US President is in Scotland for a four-day private visit, which includes the opening of a second golf course at his Aberdeenshire resort.
