Justin Herbert is set to play in his first-ever preseason game when the Los Angeles Chargers face the LA Rams on Saturday.

The Chargers won their first preseason game, the Hall of Fame game against the Detroit Lions, with Trey Lance and rookie quarterback DJ Uiagalelei getting reps under center. Lance played the majority of the snaps, throwing for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 13-of-20 passing.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif -- Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert will make his preseason debut Saturday against the Rams. Harbaugh said he expects starters to play up to eight plays, but said not every starter will hit that number in the game, which will be the Chargers' third of the preseason.
