Journalism battles past the competition down the final stretch and manages to barely catch Gosger before the finish line to win the Preakness Stakes.

Gosger entered the race having won his last two starts, most recently claiming a victory in the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes in April. The horse is named after former MLB outfielder Jim Gosger, who told Paulick Report's Clark Spencer that being the horses namesake "ranks right up at the top" of his career.

Journalism won the 150th running of the Preakness Stakes on Saturday at Baltimore's Pimlico Race Course in stunning fashion, catching longshot Gosger just before the wire after recovering from a bump down the stretch.
