The 2025 season has been one to forget for Fever star Caitlin Clark.
Caitlin Clark has not played for the Indiana Fever since suffering a groin injury on July 15, but that's apparently not the only injury she's dealing with. During a workout in Phoenix on August 7, Clark tweaked her ankle, according to Scott Agness of the Fieldhouse Files, adding to her injury-riddled sophomore season.
The team said they signed guard Shey Peddy to a seven-day hardship contract "in a corresponding move" to deal with Cunningham's injury. Star Fever player Caitlin Clark is also still dealing with a groin injury and has missed 22 games this season.
In the second quarter, Sophie Cunningham was forced to exit the game when Sun player Bria Hartley fell awkwardly into her. Cunningham was standing under the basket playing defense while driving, Sun guard Bria Hartley fell into her lower left leg after making a pass.
Caitlin Clark has suffered three separate injuries this season that have limited her to only 13 games played. The superstar guard has not played since she strained her right groin on July 15, and Fever head coach Stephanie White isn't sure when Clark will return.
