YouTube has rolled out a redesign of its playback speed controls for both Android and iOS apps. The new interface has a compact design that appears at the bottom of the screen, replacing the previous tall sheet of increments that occupied nearly half the display.

November 7th's YouTube update on Android seems to have introduced bugs affecting playback and miniplayer functionality.
