Since the feature was introduced, I only really use separate windows if I expect I'll need move files between them. If you want to open a new tab, just tap Ctrl+T while File Explorer is open.

Open Gallery in File Explorer, then click the Collection menu in the actions bar. Click on Manage collection to see which folders are being tracked for Gallery and the option to add or remove folders.

For example, while in File Explorer, open the location you want to search the document, image, audio, video, or folder. In the search box, type the search query using keywords, such as "Windows 11 ...

This will cause Windows to open the Folder Options dialog box. If you look at Figure 1, you can see that at the very top of the dialog box, there is an Open File Explorer to drop down box.
