Democracy and the economy were the top issues for voters casting ballots in the presidential election between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, a new early exit poll reveals.

Polls cross the country will remain open until at least the early evening local time as Americans cast their ballots on Election Day.

Only one issue appeared to mar the otherwise calm Election Day. Apache County, located along the state's north and eastern borders with Utah, Colorado and New Mexico, experienced problems with its electronic pollbooks and printers on Tuesday morning.
