Kenley Jansen, a four-time All-Star and MLB's active saves leader, is set to join the Los Angeles Angels' bullpen coming off two seasons with the Boston Red Sox.

As first reported by the New York Post’s Jon Heyman, the Los Angeles Angels are signing the veteran to a one-year, $10 million deal. The 37-year-old Jansen spent the last two seasons with the Boston Red Sox, making his fourth career All-Star team in 2023. Jansen recorded a total of 56 saves across two seasons, posting a 3.44 ERA.

Former Los Angeles Dodgers legend and free-agent closer Kenley Jansen has agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Angels , reports Jon Heyman of the New York Post. Hernández spent the last two seasons in LA — his second stint with the team — after the Red Sox traded him to the Dodgers in 2023. He helped Los Angeles win the World Series when he batted .278 with five hits (one triple) and three runs in the five-game series against the Yankees.
