A look at Elon Musk's group of young engineers with little government experience in his overhaul of the U.S. federal government infrastructure.

A coalition of 14 state attorneys general plans to file a lawsuit arguing that Musk's DOGE is unlawfully accessing Americans' personal and private information.

The attorneys general said in a statement that they would take action “in defense of our Constitution (and) our right to privacy."

Democrats are opposing Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency as it turns its attention to the Education Department, with lawmakers raising questions about DOGE’s access to internal systems containing personal information on tens of millions of Americans.

A lawsuit filed against the Education Department accused it of giving DOGE access to student-loan borrowers' personal information.
