Voters in Minnesota, Virginia and South Dakota will begin casting ballots for the 2024 presidential contest Friday as officials work to address concerns about election security and delivery problems with the U.

Early in-person voting begins Friday in Virginia's Nov. 5 elections. All Virginians will cast ballots for president, U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives and will have the chance to weigh in on a statewide referendum regarding a proposed tax exemption for the surviving spouse of a soldier who died in the line of duty.

Election Day is just over six weeks away, but Virginians won’t have to wait until Nov. 5 to make their decisions about the representation they want to see at the local, state and national level.
