A month after forcing her way out of town, DeWanna Bonner made her return to Indianapolis on Wednesday, and the trip did not go well for her nor the Phoenix Mercury. Bonner was booed early and often and finished with just four points in a 107-101 loss to the Indiana Fever .

The Mercury-Fever game represented Bonner's return to Indiana after a nine-game stint to open the season that ended up going sour. As the 37-year-old veteran checked in off the bench, the Gainbridge Fieldhouse crowd welcomed her back with a not-small amount of jeering.
