The Ryder Cup is returning to the United States later this year, but most golf fans will have to shell out a significant amount of dough to watch things

The PGA of America will distribute 3,000 tickets to this year's Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York as part of a fan engagement initiative dubbed "The People's Perk," the biennial competition's co-organisers said on Wednesday.

Through a giveaway called “The People’s Perk,” the PGA of America will distribute 3,000 complimentary Ryder Cup tickets to New York residents through surprise pop-up events at public golf courses across Long Island and the greater New York City area over the next five months.
