Vanessa Whyte, in her 40s, and her two children James and Sarah died in a shooting in Northern Ireland, police confirmed. A fourth person, a man, remains in a serious condition in hospital. Superintendent Robert McGowan confirmed that all four people suffered gun shot wounds.
The three people who died in a shooting in Co Fermanagh have been named as Vanessa Whyte, 45, and her two children, 14-year-old James Rutledge and 13-year-old Sara Rutledge.
The investigation is at an early stage but a suspected triple murder and attempted suicide is one line of inquiry, police say.
