NEW YORK – Red Sox top prospect Jhostynxon Garcia, also known as ‘The Password’ is en route to New York to join the big-league club at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox are placing Gold Glove right-fielder Wilyer Abreu on the injured list, the Herald confirmed.

Red Sox prospect Jhostynxon Garcia – who is fittingly nicknamed "The Password" – has been called up to the big leagues. Boston called up the outfielder from Triple-A Worcester on Thursday ahead of a crucial four-game series against the New York Yankees.

After calling up top prospects Roman Anthony and Marcelo Mayer in June, the Red Sox added another prospect Thursday when they recalled outfielder Jhostynxon Garcia from Triple-A Worcester.
