One of the most legendary baseball tournaments is set to come to an end on Friday night as Mexico’s Charros de Jalisco takes on Leones del Escogido from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean World Series Final.

The Dominican Republic, coming off a 10-7 loss to Puerto Rico, will face Venezuela in one of two Caribbean Series semifinal matchups on Wednesday.

Four teams remain in an annual tournament filled with national bragging rights on the diamond. On Wednesday, Cardenales de Lara from Venezuela takes on the Dominican Republic’s Leones del Escogido in the Caribbean World Series Semifinals.

The stage is set for an intriguing championship game matchup in the 67th Caribbean Series on Friday at 10 p.m. ET, between the Leones del Escogido (Dominican Republic) and the Charros de Jalisco (Mexico) at Mexicali’s Nido de las Águilas Stadium.

Leones del Escogido secured a dramatic extra-inning victory over Cardenales de Lara, advancing to the championship game in a thrilling 5-4 win.

The stage is set for the 2025 Caribbean Series Final; the host team will face off against one of the Caribbean's finest squads.

The Charros de Jalisco arrive undefeated to the 2025 Caribbean Series semifinals and will face the Indios de Mayagüez of Puerto Rico at Nido de las Águilas Stadium in Baja California.
