Some third-party merchants who previously sold China-made goods during Amazon's premier July shopping event are sitting it out this year.

Amazon Prime Day is already being talked about even though the event isn't until July. According to Reuters, the third-party sellers, who make up a significant component of the site, are "sitting it out this year or reducing the amount of discounted merchandise they offer."
